Unlocking AVA locked by Kiosk Mode without the PIN

A remote locked by Kiosk Mode gets unlocked by restoring it to a factory-new setup.

Quick Steps

• Turn off the remote by holding the power button and tapping Power Off when it appears on the screen.
• Hold the power and volume up button until you see very tiny text on the screen (Select Boot Mode)
• Use Volume Up button to select Recovery. Confirm by tapping the Volume Down button.
• Select the Factory Reset and then select Reboot the remote should then finish the factory reset
• Once the factory reset is complete, you can proceed with Kiosk Mode or a standard AVA Remote.
