Terms & Conditions

PRICE

Unless stated, all prices are in Great British Pounds (£ GBP). The total cost of your order will be the price of the products, the delivery charge (if any), plus any additional services you choose e.g. premium delivery, delivery to a residential address or delivery to addresses outside of the UK mainland (such as ROI, IOM etc.).

For goods or services not included within our price list, we will confirm with you (at the time of order) the price to be charged.

We will charge VAT on all UK sales at standard rates.

We will also charge VAT on all EU sales unless you have supplied a valid VAT number. For both EU and international sales we will also charge VAT in the case of you arranging your own collection and transportation, unless we receive sufficient evidence of the goods leaving the UK and arriving at an international address.

We retain the right to adjust pricing without notice to reflect cost changes beyond our immediate control e.g. carriage charges, exchange rate variations, your special shipping requirements etc. Where possible we will give notice of the price changes and on a case-by-case basis will review outstanding quotes / pro forma invoices.


QUOTATIONS

Quotations are valid for a period of 14 days only, unless otherwise stated on the document. After the 14 days have expired please contact the sales team to obtain correct pricing / specification etc.


PURCHASE ORDERS

Any purchase orders received by Pulse Cinemas will be checked against current pricing and dealers will be notified of any discrepancies prior to the products being ordered or despatched.


DELIVERY

We do everything we can to ensure your order arrives at your door complete and in pristine condition. If you don’t receive all of your products at once, you can check that they have been dispatched using the tracking facility detailed in the invoice email. If it’s not on its way, you can contact us via telephone +44 1279 647 039. In the unlikely event that the product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the product is damaged when it arrives, please either sign for the goods as damaged or refuse the delivery and then contact us as soon as possible on +44 1279 647 039.

We endeavour to have goods delivered promptly and in accordance with advised lead times, but accept no liability for costs incurred as a result of delays in delivering goods.

When exporting goods outside of the UK mainland commercial invoices may be required. It is the dealers responsibility to provide these and make sure that the information provided is accurate.


RETENTION OF TITLE

Pulse Cinemas Ltd shall retain title to the goods until we have received payment in full for all sums due in connection with the supply of all goods to you at any time. If you fail to make payment to Pulse Cinemas Ltd when due, enter into bankruptcy, liquidation or a composition with your creditors, or have a receiver or manager appointed over all or part of your assets, Pulse Cinemas Ltd shall have the right, without prejudice, to these remedies:

  1. To enter without prior notice any business premises owned or rented by you, where goods owned by Pulse Cinemas Ltd may be, and to repossess such items. We shall document any such repossession and credit your account as may be required.
  2. To withhold delivery of any undelivered goods and to stop goods in transit.

STORAGE COSTS

Upon receipt of your order we will contact yourselves for any remaining balance or confirmation of delivery address. If goods are not taken within 7 business days storage fees of £25 + VAT per day will be added to the outstanding balance or will be payable before your goods are shipped.


PAYMENT TERMS

We may agree credit facilities on completion of our credit application process. Until we agree credit facilities we may request payment in advance for any or all transactions.

Before granting credit facilities, we will take up trade references and search with a credit reference agency. Once we agree credit facilities the following conditions shall apply:

  1. Normal credit terms are 30 days Net (from the date of invoice). However, in the following cases special terms apply:
    1. We reserve the right to request a 50% deposit on orders exceeding £10,000 (trade value).
    2. We reserve the right to ask for full payment in advance in respect of orders for special products not normally stocked and therefore ordered in, specifically for you, e.g. customised screens, custom width or colour speakers etc.
    3. Below are our payment terms for specific brands:


      1.  Anthem
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      2.  BenQ
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      3.  BGW
        • BGW orders require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch.

      4.  D-BOX
        • D-BOX orders require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch.

      5.  Digital Projection
        • The following Digital Projection products can ship on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available: Replacement Lamps, Filter Kits & Hanging Kits All other products require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      6.  Fortress Seating
        • Fortress Seating orders require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch A signed copy of the seating configuration document must accompany our order to Fortress Seating.

      7.  IsoTek
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      8.  James Loudspeaker
        • Custom products require a 50% deposit, the product can ship on this providing that the dealer has a credit account with sufficient credit available All other products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts providing sufficient credit is available If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      9. Kaleidescape
        • The following Kaleidescape products can ship on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available:Alto, Strato, CoStar & DV700Disk CartridgesRemote ControlsRack MountsExtended Limited WarrantiesService Kits & Replacement PackagingExchange Deposits If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch All other products require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch

          NOTE: There will be some occasions where it makes more sense to request a deposit on the complete order

          EXAMPLE:
          If a dealer is ordering a complete Premiere Line system containing a DV700. It’s simpler to request a 50% deposit against the entire pro-forma rather than everything besides the DV700.

      10. Lutron
        • Lutron orders require full payment prior to processing an order

      11. Near
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      12. Paradigm
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      13. Pixelgen
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      14. Prismasonic
        • Prismasonic orders require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch.

      15. Pulse Eight
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      16. RTI
        • Products can be shipped on dealer credit accounts, providing sufficient credit is available. If no credit facility is available then a 50% deposit is required to order the goods and then paid for in full prior to dispatch.

      17. Screen Research
        • Screen Research orders require full payment prior to dispatch. The following screens require a 50% deposit: Orders exceeding £10,000 Retail incl. VAT. Custom width screens and/or image widths greater than 120”Anamorphic (2.35:1 or 2.40:1) and/or Masking screensTheatreCurve, Integrator or Studio Fabric screensMotorised screens including: Extra Drops, Reverse Roll, Lutron Motors, Non White Casing, Non-European VoltageAny screen with Black Backing Removal.

      18. Sim2
        • Sim2 orders require 50% deposit to put the goods on order and remaining balance prior to dispatch.

      19. Storm Audio
        • Storm Audio orders require 50% deposit to put the goods on order and remaining balance prior to dispatch.

      20. Vicoustic
        • Vicoustic orders require 50% deposit to put the goods on order and remaining balance prior to dispatch.






  2. We reserve the right to charge a fee not exceeding 2.5%, on invoices exceeding £5,000 paid by debit/credit card. We will always advise you of this in advance.
  3. We reserve the right to charge you in respect of bank costs incurred, because of cheque(s) returned unpaid.
  4. We reserve the right to offset amounts due by you to us, against amounts payable by us to you.
  5. Please provide any details of queries or disputes within the invoices payment terms.
  6. Early discounts will not apply after the initial invoice terms, and a separate invoice will be raised for the discount initially offered. This payment will be due immediately and your account will be placed on hold until a payment is received.

  7. LOAN / DEMO STOCK

    Products on loan remain the property of Pulse Cinemas Ltd. It is your responsibility to store these goods in such a way that they are clearly the property of Pulse Cinemas Ltd and to ensure their safety and protection. You also accept the responsibility to ensure they are insured adequately against theft, fire and any other loss or damage sustained whilst in your possession.

    The loan period is for the maximum term of 30 days (unless otherwise agreed). After this time, the goods must either, be returned undamaged in their original packaging or, they will be invoiced on our normal credit terms.

    There may be the need for you to sign a loan agreement separate to these listed stipulations.

    All loan stock must be returned to Pulse at your own cost, Pulse will arrange collection if required but this will be chargeable.

    If goods are purchased for demonstration purposes, an additional discount may be offered after discussion with the appropriate company representative.


    RETURNS & RESTOCKING FEES

    When we despatch products to you we expect you to take delivery of them. If, for any reason, excepting any errors made by us, you ask us to take back products, and we agree, we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking/warehousing fee. This fee shall normally be up to 15% of the standard trade price, together with the full value of any additional carriage charges as incurred by us and invoiced to us. However, for Lutron the re-stocking fee is 25% as per Lutron’s terms and conditions, this is reduced to 10% if ordering replacement goods at the time of return.

    In the event that we supply you with new products and you return them to us after you have opened them, we shall assess the goods on return. If, by virtue of the condition of the goods we receive back, we cannot re-sell the goods as new products, we shall also reserve the right to charge a higher restocking fee than the above amount.

    General returns, where product is not needed and unopened, shall be honoured within 30 days of delivery. Any items outside of this period shall be at the discretion of management.

    Custom products purchased in error or unwanted may not be returned, unless the error is ours. However, without commitment, we shall work reasonably with you to resolve any difficulty where possible.


    WARRANTY

    Goods supplied are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for each particular product. Any faults occurring during the warranty period should be notified to us and we will take the appropriate action in conjunction with the manufacturer in order to get the fault resolved as quickly as possible.

    Goods should (where possible) be returned in original packaging. Pulse Cinemas will accept no responsibility for any damages to goods that are sent/returned in non-original packaging. Dealers are able to hand deliver goods to be serviced/replaced and if this is the case suitable packaging must be provided in the event that the goods require returning via a courier service.

    It is the dealers responsibility to return goods to Pulse Cinemas at their cost. Pulse Cinemas will thereafter incur the cost to return the goods to the dealers address. Pulse Cinemas will also cover costs if the goods need to be returned to the manufacturer.

    Warranties are covered within the UK and Pulse shall not be liable for any charges that arise from dealers having to travel to sites that are outside of this. Likewise, Pulse will not cover costs for site maintenance that may be required for removing/re-installing products supplied by Pulse.


    CREDIT LIMITS

    We shall normally review your Credit Limit annually. The limit is subject to review at any time and we reserve the right to amend it entirely at our discretion.


    MANUFACTURER / SUPPLIER CLOSURES

    In the unlikely event of a manufacturer / supplier closing down we will endeavour to continue supporting purchased items moving forwards.

    Refunds of items purchased prior to the closure will be reviewed on a case by case basis if necessary.


    DRAWINGS

    CAD drawings are provided upon request and may be chargeable depending on how much Pulse equipment is being supplied for the project. We also provide a free service which is not as in-depth as a full dedicated CAD of the actual room / site, as long as at least one Pulse brand is included within the project. Please ask/specify before requesting a drawing.

    All Pulse Cinemas CAD services must be checked by the client prior to being issued or worked to. All CAD services must be covered by the clients own respective insurance policies. No claims, for any reason whatsoever, shall be made against Pulse Cinemas from the client or any other third party.
