Can I use Lutron for external lights as well as internal?

Yes you can. Lutron offer RF Dimming and Switching modules to allow for easy connection of external circuits to an internal based control system, with Lighting Control Keypads where you need them. The in-built system time clock also allows for automated control on either a fixed-time or sunrise/sunset dependent criteria.
