Pulse Cinemas is opening the doors of its Stansted HQ for an exclusive mid-level free video training session, designed to help professional installers deepen their understanding of video performance, system optimisation and real-world calibration workflows via the fantastic madVR platform.
With only 15 places available, this is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience with some of the most powerful video processing tools in the industry, led by one of the most respected names in professional calibration, Jason Dustal, Senior Field Specialist at madVR Labs.
Get madVR skills
At the heart of the training is an in-depth exploration of madVR video processing, including setup, configuration and best-practice deployment across a wide range of environments and screen types.
Delegates will learn how to truly understand video signals and processing settings, enabling consistently outstanding picture quality from any display device, whether working with projectors or flat-panel displays. The focus is firmly on practical knowledge that can be taken straight back to live projects.
Delegates will be able to learn more about the award-winning madVR Envy range, including:
- Envy Extreme MK2 – madVR’s flagship video processor, powered by the Nvidia 4080 Super GPU. Featuring industry-leading 4K HDR dynamic tone mapping, instant aspect ratio handling, advanced subtitle management, next-generation non-linear stretch, stunning 5K and 8K upscaling, support for 8K60 and 4K120 output, 1D and 3D LUT calibration, MotionAI and a premium hardware platform backed by a five-year warranty.
- Envy Core – bringing the same cutting-edge madVR processing to more modest home theatres and media rooms. Offering advanced dynamic tone mapping, instant aspect ratio control, advanced scaling and calibration support, with the option to upgrade via the Core Premium Package.
This is not a sales overview. It is a technical deep dive into how madVR products can be specified, configured and optimised to deliver reference-level results.
Live calibration on the Sony GTZ380
A key highlight of the day is a live projector calibration session in Pulse Cinemas’ large cinema space, using the Sony GTZ380. Delegates will see first-hand how a high-performance projector is calibrated in a real installation environment, gaining insight into workflows, measurement strategies and decision-making that directly affect final image quality.
The training will also explore how to get the very best performance from Sony TVs, one of the most widely specified display brands in residential projects today.
Delivered by an industry authority
The course is presented by Jason Dustal, Senior Field Specialist at madVR Labs.
