After much work developing its facilities in Stansted Mountfitchet, Pulse Cinemas officially opened its doors and invited dealers / installers to experience the new look headquarters. Held on July 26 2017, the event was held in partnership with Essential Install and provided the industry the ideal opportunity to check out the latest technology Pulse Cinemas is distributing.
Over 50 industry stakeholders were in attendance at the Open Day; enjoying the festivities that Pulse Cinemas had put on. As well as being delighted by a whole selection of different foods, those in attendance also had the opportunity to check out the upgrades that had been made to the headquarters. This included a complete overhaul of both cinemas.
The small cinema has been upgraded with BenQ’s entry-level 4K projector offering, while the large cinema boasts a new Digital Projection Hermes Highlite 4K projector. The cinemas also included technology from the likes of Storm Audio, Vicoustics and James Loudspeakers.
“Our guests were all impressed with how price points had fallen, but performance had improved massively,” notes Pulse Cinemas Managing Director, Mike Beatty.
With the upgraded technology, Pulse Cinemas has managed to shave off more than £100,000 from the system’s overall cost, without any degradation in quality. In fact, dealers on the day noted how the James Loudspeakers, Storm Audio, Vicoustics and Kaleidescape systems completely transformed the sound quality of both rooms.
Kapes Patel, technical sales director and partner at Pulse Cinemas, comments: “The addition of BenQ and Digital Projection has meant we are now firmly back in the game when it comes to offering the most comprehensive range of 4k projectors at every price point.
“Our service and support will guarantee that our dealers can confidently offer their clients the very best in projector performance; with an achievable and better margin than most products from this sector. That will mean their service and support wouldn’t need to be compromised by selling alternative over distributed brands with lower margin and inferior performance.”
Those who missed out on the opportunity to check out Pulse Cinemas’ new-look facility shouldn’t feel too disheartened. The company says that it is planning more open events over the coming months. CE Pro Europe and Essential Install will exclusively announce those dates soon, although those wanting to check it out sooner are encouraged to contact Pulse Cinemas directly.
