In the modern world it can often be difficult to secure and plan for valuable family time, for everyone to get together and enjoy shared activities. As personal digital devices and busy schedules vie for the attention of younger and older members of the family too, the thinking behind this cinema was to create a space everyone could enjoy and spend time in each other’s company.

Naturally with this being a home cinema with Pulse Cinema ingredients included, the install company responsible made sure each aspect of the room works together to deliver a result that delights and impresses everyone who enters.

Anthem processing and amplification drives a collection of Paradigm speakers in a full Dolby Atmos immersive surround sound experience, bringing the full impact of the very latest audio technologies to this cinema.

All of this audio excellence is further enhanced with the addition of IsoTek power conditioning, which means the power reaching the electronics is constant and free from interference, improving the audio quality still further.

A series of cumstom-built, brightly coloured acoustic wall treatments from Vicoustic are also included to pull the audio performance up a few further notches without interfering with the themed design, included around the walls and ceiling of the cinema.

The family wanted to enjoy lots of different content, from movies, to sport to their favourite TV shows, which often means the images are in different formats to one another. 

The install team on this project chose a Screen Research E Mask acoustically transparent screen with lateral masking to ensure that no matter what image format the content is in, the screen adjusts automatically to make the best of each viewing session. 

Partnering the screen is a powerful, colourful SIM2 Domino 4 UHD projector, which is fully loaded with all the latest image-enhancing capabilities to deliver exciting, engaging images that sparkle and pop with lifelike colours. 

The inclusion of an anamorphic lens from Prismasonic means that the family can enjoy content in true CinemaScope, the widescreen format favoured by the movie industry.

Securing the best content quickly and easily was important for this family-focused cinema and so the install team included a Kaleidescape Strato 4K player, which provides access to top quality entertainment from movies to music, and so much more.

It’s also really important to create the right atmosphere in a themed cinema such as this and it’s here the Lutron QS system that is fitted comes into its own. Not just a practical device to let people find their seats and automatically dim the lights when it's movie time, the lighting scheme helps create a fun and family orientated atmosphere, making the cinema a welcoming and engaging place to be. 

Also in place is a video distribution system from the top name in the sector Pulse-Eight and IsoTek products used to deliver clean and spike free power to all of the equipment. 

An RTI home automation system is also at the heart of this cinema, pulling all the performance and technology together, presented to the user in an intuitive interface, so users of all ages can get to grips with the cinema right away and become immersed in the story of their choice, every time.
